Diptych - Acrylic and resin on wood canvas, 18" × 48" x 2
“Two Lost Souls” captures a suspended moment between connection and distance. Composed on an elongated wood canvas, the format itself suggests a journey—two presences moving along parallel paths, drawn together yet never fully meeting.
Built through layered acrylic and sealed in multiple pours of resin, the surface holds a sense of depth that feels almost geological, as if emotion has been embedded over time. Light refracts through the resin, revealing subtle shifts beneath—echoes of movement, memory, and unspoken tension.
The work explores themes of isolation, longing, and the invisible threads that bind us. There is a quiet gravity here: not despair, but a recognition of how closely two lives can orbit without ever fully aligning.
Rather than offering resolution, “Two Lost Souls” invites reflection—on relationships, timing, and the fragile space between presence and absence.
